Through our commitments and policies we ensure that our business is conducted in line with applicable legislation and our volountary commitments, entailing among others that we continously strive for a sustainable way of business.

Committing to Science Based Targets

NG Group takes an active role towards realizing the green transition and has committed to set targets according to the Science Based Targets Initiative’s framework to contribute to keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees, in accordance with the Paris Agreement. We are also committing to setting a long-term net-zero target, striving to become climate-neutral by 2050 at the latest.

Code of conduct

NG Group started to implement our Code of Conduct several years ago, which has been continuously updated and communicated to our employees. The Code of Conduct includes topics such as;  Fair competition, Human rights, HSSEQ,  Anti-corruption principles, Data protection, Communication. These days we are again in the process of updating the current Code of Conduct. These will, when adopted by the Board of Directors, be published at here at our website.

HSE

The Group is involved in collection and handling of industrial, commercial and household waste (both hazardous and non-hazardous), demolition and environmental remediation (asbestos, PCBs etc.), has operations with a lot of energy (pressure, voltage, height) and has a significant transport business. Therefore, employees in the Group are to a greater or lesser extent exposed to health and safety risks when carrying out their work. The same applies to hired personnel, subcontractors and other visitors and passers-by, who are in contact with the Group's operations. The Group can be held financially responsible for accidents and other HSE-related incidents.

Whistleblowing is positive.

Whistleblowing is reporting unacceptable circumstances to someone who can do something about it. Whistleblowing is positive both for the company and for society as a whole because it means unacceptable situations can be remedied. People who are willing to wistle blow are an important resource for NG Group
